New in 2013! Camp Merrywood will offer a 7-day multi-sport program that introduces campers to a wide variety of adapted recreational, sport and leisure activities. Campers will have the opportunity to participate in their favourite activities as well as try new sports that they may have never played before. Each day campers will have the chance to learn new skills and gain a fundamental understanding of a wide range of activities. With an emphasis on fun, the program is designed to enhance each camper’s self-image by working on their individual skills, while learning the value of team play, sportsmanship and friendly competition. This active program is perfect for energetic campers who love to get involved in an intense but non-competitive atmosphere.

Campers under the age of 19 years as of July 1 (of the camping year) and who are not a Crown Ward, are eligible to receive funding from Easter Seals Ontario. Families are asked to pay what they can, with a minimum payment of $125. The remainder will be funded by our generous donors.

Eligibility:

• Between the ages of 13-18 years as of July 1 (of the program year)
• Registered with Easter Seals Ontario (Please note that the Incontinence Supplies Grant Program is a separate registry)
• Meet the criteria for participation in Easter Seals residential camps (please see our “General Information / FAQ” page for more information).
