Through the generosity and support of our many donors and sponsors, Easter Seals is able to offer a world-class recreation experience for children and youth who have a physical disability. Easter Seals camps are proud to create an environment, which fosters autonomy and self-esteem. As a result, campers leave camp not only with new skills and friendships but also with a new sense of accomplishment, pride, and independence.
Here’s what 2011 Campers and their families had to say…
“My daughter had a FANtastic time and couldn’t stop talking about how kind and caring you all were. She truly felt loved and supported there and that she belonged. For a first away-from-home camp experience, it was the best!”
“The out-tripping camp was definitely the highlight of my summer. I am looking forward to going back next year.”
“As parents we are extremely happy with your program. Thank you very much.”
“This camp provides us with experiences with our son that we could not do somewhere else. We always look forward to attending camp.”
“The staff were awesome at helping our son deal with his homesickness. Thank you!”
“I can’t begin to tell you how impressed I am with your programming and quality of care.”
“As my son says ‘camp is the best place on earth’ and I agree with him. It is 10 days where I do not need to worry. Thanks Easter Seals.”
