"Since we couldn´t find a suitable camp to meet Athena´s needs, we rented a cabin at our local KOA campground. We spent 4 hours a day at the pool, Athena´s favourite place. She also enjoyed the fire, roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. Without the help of Easter Seals, this experience would not be possible. Why I like Camp!
Camp Woodeden is the best place to spend 10 days of my summer, I wish it was longer. At camp I am just like everyone else. This year I cannot wait to see all my friends I have met in other years. The few things I love to do are archery, swimming and basketball. All the counsellors at Camp Woodeden are the best.

2009 Provincial Easter Seals Ambassador
I can´t wait to go kayaking at camp because I have never tried it and it is something I have always wanted to do. Also, I think that arts and crafts would be awesome because I am a very good artist. Next, I love to sail and I heard that sailing is also at camp and I can´t wait to sail again! And finally, I definitely can´t wait to meet new friends that are just like me!

At camp my favourite activities are hang time, buddy time, swimming, music and drama, and sports and games. Camp is fun because we get to go on a canoeing overnight camping trip and one year I got to go for a four day trip as well.
